Josh Giebel has known since 5th grade that he was going to end up in education (special shout out to his 5th-grade teacher Mr. B)! He has been proudly serving the students and families of BCSC as a math teacher, counselor, and school leader since the summer of 2010. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!) with a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and has a Masters Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and School Leadership from Ball State University. He wants to make sure that the work of passionate educators can extend beyond the walls of their classrooms and their schools. He is committed to working with other educational leaders to ensure that we create a public school system that our community is proud of and that provides deep and meaningful learning opportunities for every student.
When he isn't working with students, you can probably find Josh with his partner Shelby and their two dogs, Islay (eye-lah) and Mya! They love spending time outside, reading, listening to live music, or cheering on Josh's favorite Wisconsin sports teams!
He looks forward to working with you and your students. Columbus Virtual Pathway is designed to be a flexible and personalized option for all students. Please don’t hesitate to contact him with any questions.
