    Season: Six week season beginning in early August.
     
    Race Distance:
    The race distance for all 3 meets will be 1.5 K = 1500 meters = .93 mile
    Boys and girls in grades 3-6 will all race the same 1.5 K distance, but competition will be separated by division.
     
    Practices:
    Each school and its coaches will determine the practice schedule. The number of participants will be determined by each school. For safety reasons, the adult-to-student ratio will be an essential factor in determining this.
