How to Enroll
To enroll, follow the steps outlined below. Enrollment in Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation can be completed online or in-person at the BCSC Enrollment Center located at the BCSC Administration Office, 1200 Central. Ave, Columbus, Indiana, 47201. Family engagement interpreters are available at the BCSC Enrollment Center to provide language support if needed and answer any questions you may have about your student's education in BCSC.
Supportive Programs
Pre-Kindergarten
The mission of BCSC Pre-K is to support families in preparing children who are socially, emotionally, and cognitively ready for Kindergarten. BCSC provides high-quality education in an elementary setting to any four-year-olds in our community.
i-CARE
The i-CARE program is available to any child attending a BCSC school from Pre-K to 6th grade, and runs before and after regular school days, as well as during breaks. The i-CARE program provides opportunities for healthy snacks, physical activity, enrichment activities, and homework support.
Columbus Virtual Pathway (CVP)
The Columbus Virtual Pathway is facilitated by a BCSC teacher using the Edmentum platform in an adaptive, self-paced, and customized learning environment. Students enrolled in CVP engage in video instruction and online learning activities that support mastery of Indiana state standards.
Special Education
Our Special Education team is proud to serve students with disabilities from preschool through age 22, providing services that are individualized, inclusive, and rooted in collaboration.
English Learners
English Language Learners (ELL) program in BCSC is designed to give students who are not able to communicate fluently or learn effectively in English learning development services and support to students can integrate the language into a regular classroom for academic success.
High Ability
Our High Ability programs encourage K-12 students to apply higher-order thinking skills, increase depth of understanding, and pursue intellectual potential through high-quality instruction and rigorous curriculum within a Universally Designed Learning environment.
