Food Services

Amber Kelley is our cafeteria manager. If you have any questions, please call the office at 812-376-4314 and we can transfer you to her office in the cafeteria.

 

Breakfast is available to all students. Cost is $1.60

Lunch is served everyday. Cost is $3.00 

The school meals program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture ( USDA). Since the start of the COVID 19 Pandemic, school corporations across the country have been operating with the use of a federal waiver that allowed them to feed every child for free through the end of the 21-22 school year. The use of this waiver will not be available for school year 22-23 and the school corporations must return to the traditional eligibility requirements for free, reduced and paid meals. This means that for School Year 2022-2023, our school corporation will process free and reduced price meal benefit applications.

 

Households are encouraged to apply before the start of the year to avoid unpaid meal charges. Students who are not approved for free or reduced price meal benefits will be classified as paid status and meal charges will begin to accumulate starting the first day of school. Meal charged accrued before the approval of meal benefit application will be the responsibility of the household. It is suggested have money in the student lunch account to cover two weeks of meals and to give time for meal applications to be processed.

You do NOT need to complete an application if:

  • You receive notification that your child(ren) are directly certified.
  • You know your household does not qualify for meal benefits. (Please have money in your child’s account on the first day of school)

Mrs. Morlok:  11:25 to 11:55

Mrs. Edwards:  11:30 to 12:00

Kindergarten: 11:35-12:05

1st grade: 11:20 to 11:50

2nd grade:  12:30 to 1:00

3rd grade:  11:00 to 11:30

4th grade 10:45 to 11:15

5th grade: 11:55 to 12:25

6th grade: 12:10 to 12:40

Birthday Party Order Form

Birthday treats may be brought in but they must be purchased from the store.  NO HOMEMADE TREATS.  Please contact your child's teacher to make plans for any birthday treats for a birthday. 

Vegetarian Options

Vegetarian options are available everyday.  When a student goes thru the lunch line they may pick a vegetarian option.  Below is a list of the vegetarian options that the school does provide.  Not all items on the list are provided every day....but vegetarian options are offered to all students.

Veggie Burger on Bun, Soft Pretzel and Cheese Sauce, Cheese Pizza, Cheese Omelet, Specialty Salad w/sunflowers/cheese, Breakfast Wrap, Cheese Quesadilla, Breakfast Tac-Go, Toasted Cheese Sandwich, Cold Cheese Sandwich, Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Noodles/Marinara/2 oz cheese, Soy Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Graham Snacker & String Cheese, Breaded Mozzarella Sticks w/pizza sauce, Cheese/Egg Pita Pocket, Mini Cheese Bagels, Baked Potato/Cheese & roll, Cheese Ravioli & Breadstick.
